ACTIVE SPORTS LAUNCHES RUGBY AND TENNIS PROGRAMMES

The Active Sports Partnership for Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland will receive over £130,000 from Sport England over the next five years to support grass roots work in these two sports.
The official launch of the Tennis and Rugby programmes took place on Monday 4th November at Lougborough University. Representatives from both the Rugby and Tennis County Associations were joined by Local Authorities, to watch former British number 3 Tennis player Barry Cowan and James Henry, a Leicester Tigers Academy player, coach local school children.
