Leicestershire, Leicester and Rutland Active Sports recognise that sports clubs are the heart of not only the sporting community but sometimes the local community itself. Therefore we see assisting sports clubs offer the best quality service possible to their members as being of paramount importance. Club Development is the stage 2 activity from Active Sports, where young people are provided with an exit route from Stage 1 activity into a quality Club. A partnership between the Active Sports Club Development Officer, the Local Authority Sports Development Officer and the Governing Body Development Officer will work with identified sports clubs to develop and provide a higher quality service to their members.
