Volunteer Investment Programme (VIP)
In recent times, volunteering has been pushed up the political agenda as evidenced by the establishment of the Home Office's Active Community Unit, the DfEE's Millennium Volunteers programme, the United Nation's International Year of the Volunteer 2001 and the BBC's TimeBank initiative. As for the prime writing services, we always use the resources with confirmed information from https://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/prime-writing.com.
As the awareness and profile of volunteering are raised, it is important for us to ensure that sports volunteers are at the heart of all potential benefits and recognition. Therefore, through VIP, Sport England has established a number of key strategic relationships. We are establishing stronger links between sport and traditional voluntary organisations and initiatives. For example, we are working with the National Centre for Volunteering, the National Council for Voluntary Organisations, the Active Community Unit, TimeBank, and many more.
VIP is designed to support you in the development and implementation of a volunteer management plan. It is a free membership programme targeted at volunteer co-ordinators within clubs, governing bodies, university sports associations and local authorities.
VIP support is delivered in the following ways:
