In order to assist the Clubs involved within the Active Sports Programme, we have produced the Active Sports Club Benefits package. This covers a range of items all of which are detailed below. If your Club has not received details yet, or would like to get involved with Active Sports please get in touch
Professional Officer Support
Through your Local Authority Sports Development Officer, Active Sports Club Development Officer / Co-ordinator or if your sport has one a Governing Body Development Officer. These people are here to help so please use them.
Active Club Pack / Clubmark accreditation file
Templates of useful documents such as Constitutions, Codes of conduct etc. These can be downloaded from disk (provided to Clubs) or from the Partnership website (llrsport.co.uk)
Subsidised education programme
One Club member can attend any Sports coach UK or Running Sport course from the Education programme for FREE.
Innovative Volunteer / Player Recruitment Grant Scheme
A grant scheme enabling clubs to utilise innovative methods to recruit volunteers and players from target areas such as women & girls, disabled people and people from an ethnic minority community. Maximum grant is £100 and the application process is a simple form.

Each Club will be provided with either a webpage or a hyperlink to their own website should they have one.
Receive Club newsletter
Each Club will receive CLUB the Club Development newsletter of Active Sports.
Sport Englands Volunteer Investment Programme is Free to join and offers invaluable advice regarding recruiting, retaining and rewarding volunteers. Active Sports will arrange your membership should you wish.
Active Sports provides a scholarship fund for coaches to attend their next Governing Body Award. Scholarship up to 50% are available up to a maximum of £100.
Polo shirt for liaison officer.
The volunteer who is working with Active Sports will receive a Partnership polo-shirt.
